The Psychology of Magic, Orion Crook, Licensed Professional Counselor and Elvin Druid

In everyday life we practice deep acts of magic such as using the sigils of the alphabet to think and speak, see into our own future, and perform rituals that are often overlooked. I find it curious that I can in my therapy practice easily get someone to do these acts with more intent, but if I am out on the streets talking from the angle of magic, the crowd seems hesitant, as if they aren’t sure if “its” real. Through this workshop we will explore the intersection of psychology and magic, how therapy and the the craft could intersect more intentionally, and share open group dialogue about what it looks like when our process towards actualization blends with the practice of magic.
